*REPRINT PRE-ORDER* Proceedings from the First Annual Wild & Seedling Pomological Exhibition – Paperback

$20.00

Now accepting pre-orders for a reprint of Proceedings from the First Annual Wild & Seedling Pomological Exhibition ! The first production run of 200, which we had planned to be the only copies of this printed, sold out before all contributors to the exhibition and the greater audience of feral-pome devotees could get a copy, so this pre-order is being put up for one week to allow us to gauge the number of additional copies should be printed.

Proceedings from the First Annual Wild & Seedling Pomological Exhibition is a compendium of the apples and pears that were featured in the first exhibition of exclusively wild and seedling apples in the memorable past. This book orients the reader toward a rich, emergent culture of fruit exploration as it pertains to feral pommes, and offers a reminder of the origin of cultivated fruit varieties. Profiles of 69 novel apple and pear varieties originating all over the continental US are detailed with stunning full-color portraits, taken by William Mullan, and detailed pomological descriptions written by yours truly, Gnarly Pips.

Perfect bound, paperback, 80-pages.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of this book are going to be donated Gardening the Community, a Springfield, MA-based food justice organization, so that they may reach their fundraising goal and to go towards the donation of fruit tree nursery stock for the planting of a community orchard.
